We’re thrilled to announce that our Optical Photothermal Infrared (O-PTIR) Spectroscopy System is officially installed! 🎉

This cutting-edge instrument will enable us to analyze individual aerosol particles with unprecedented precision, providing new insights into their physical and chemical properties. It’s a major step forward for our lab, and we couldn’t be more excited to get started with our experiments.

This week brought a rare and beautiful surprise to Knoxville—a big snowfall that turned our city into a winter wonderland! ❄️ The streets of downtown were magical under the snow-covered lights, and our team couldn’t resist stepping out to enjoy it.
