Publication Highlights

Aerosol Acidity Play a Significant Role in Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation and Ice Nucleation Ability

Our latest publication delves into a comprehensive understanding of the impact of aerosol acidity on atmospheric chemistry and ice cloud properties. aerosol acidity can modify the surface chemistry of particles, affecting their capacity to act as ice nucleating particles (INPs), which impacts cloud formation, precipitation, and radiative forcing. Understanding these processes is vital for improving atmospheric models and predicting climate and air quality effects.
